The Pacha counseling story

Pacha Counseling Services, LLC (PCSLLC), established in 2019, provides the following outpatient services: Psychiatric Evaluations, Treatment Planning, Ongoing Therapy according to an agreed treatment plan, crisis intervention and extended service, and comprehensive community support services (CCSS). Services are provided to children ages 4 to 5 (specialty) and 6 to 12, adolescents, families, couples, and individuals.

PCSLLC serves specialty populations of multicultural and bilingual families in the greater Albuquerque area. The majority of “Spanish as primary language speaking clients” (specialty population) served by PCSLLC are first and second-generation immigrants from Mexico. PCSLLC maintains that 50% or greater of all Pacha Providers are bilingual English/Spanish speaking. Therefore, cultural competency training is of utmost importance and is annually required by the New Mexico Department of Human Services. (See Section 5: Ongoing Training Requirements)

PCSLLC employs independently licensed clinical social workers (LCSW), independently licensed professional clinical counselors (LPCC), dependently licensed masters of social work (LMSW) supervised providers, certified interpreters, certified EMDR specialists, and certified comprehensive community support services workers (CCSS) under contract or as employees. The Clinical Director of PCSLLC is a certified Clinical Supervisor registered with the State of New Mexico who is actively maintaining registered clinical supervisor status according to State requirements.
